Hi Lee (I'm Dan, not Pete by the way). I don't have any experience of this model and therefore couldn't comment. Hopefully forums will be a reasonable source of experience - but try to read between the lines as there is a lot of flannel out there about valves. Feedback with your experiences where you can and it will help others. Please let me know if you get a schematic for the buffer and I can add that to the site.

I don't sell stuff by the way.

Cheers,

hi pete, wish i found this site a few days ago, i have just ordered a yaqin tube buffer and read on a forum of somebody replacing the 6j1 tubes with some mullard m8100 or western electric 403 b's is this possible, do you sell them or any other quality tubes that might be compatible as would love to experiment with the sound. Any help would be much appreciated. Lee
