Cheap prices on premium Yaqin equipment
I’ve been trying to source a supplier in Hong Kong that will offer cheap shipping – preferably via sea mail to keep the price down. I’m hoping to make an order with a view to reselling but it would help if I could get some pre-orders (at least as a gentleman’s agreement). The more I buy in bulk the lower the price should get. There is also the consideration of customs duty when they arrive – this would have to be divided by the number of units and added to the final price. Approximate prices, minus customs duty and based on the current exchange rate and a bulk order of five same model units, are:
- MC-10L – £200
- 100B – £310
- 300B – £400
If anyone is interested at this price (possibly less depending on the size of the order) please let me know. I wil be checking them for safe operating voltage when used within the UK.
UPDATE 03/10/08:
I’m afraid that personal circumstances have meant that I’ve put very little time into this venture recently. I’ve had some sporadic interest, but not enough to be able to commit to a larger purchase. The cost of shipping is so high and the worry of customs duty clearly (and understandably) puts people off. I will try harder though and who knows? – something might actually happen!

Hi Alan,
I haven’t looked at this again as there was not enough interest and the shipping was getting silly. Coupled with the lack of any realistic return to base warranty and it was a recipe for giving up. I don’t have a schematic for the 100B, so it would very much depend on the problem.

Are you still trying to source Yaqin equipment direct?
Are you reparing the MC100b yet?
Cheers
